Common Questions for First-Time Patients

  • Does acupuncture hurt?

  • Answer: Most people find acupuncture to be relaxing and relatively painless. You may feel a slight pinch or tingling when the needles are inserted, but they are very thin and designed for minimal discomfort. Many patients even fall asleep during treatment!

  • What conditions do you treat?

  • We specialize in treating pain (neck, back, knee, etc.), stress, anxiety, digestive issues, infertility, autoimmune conditions, and more.

    Are there any side effects?

  • Answer: Side effects are rare but may include slight bruising, mild soreness, or feeling tired after the session. These are normal and part of the body’s natural healing process.

  • How many sessions will I need?

  • Answer: The number of sessions depends on your specific condition and wellness goals. Some people feel relief after one treatment, while others may need a series of sessions for lasting results.

  • Is acupuncture safe?

  • Answer: Yes, acupuncture is safe when performed by a licensed and trained practitioner. At Quality Community Acupuncture, we use sterile, single-use needles for your safety and comfort.
