About Me

I was born in São Paulo, Brazil, and had the privilege to be exposed to Acupuncture and natural medicine at an early age. I studied Acupuncture at CEATA in São Paulo - Brazil, graduating in 1994, and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy at UnG University (Universidade Guarulhos), Brazil, graduating in 1998. I worked as a Physical Therapist and Acupuncturist for the Brazilian Karate Team from 1996 - 1998, as well as having a private home-based practice in São Paulo, Brazil. I also worked as a professor for Sol Instituto Terapêutico in São Paulo, Brazil.

In the United States, I worked as an EMT for a private company and an ER Technician at a level 1 trauma center. I graduated with a Master's Degree program from the New England School of Acupuncture in 2013. I had my clinical experience at Boston Medical Center, Winchester Hospital, and Cambridge Health Alliance. I worked as a Teacher's Assistant at New England School of Acupuncture (NESA - MCPHS) and an Acupuncturist at Saint Vincent Hospital Cancer and Wellness Center.

My Philosophy

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: healing should be accessible to everyone.

That’s why at Quality Acupuncture and Wellness, we offer both Community Acupuncture and Private Acupuncture sessions.
The community model breaks down barriers providing high-quality, consistent care in an affordable and inclusive setting. Multiple patients are treated in a peaceful shared space with privacy dividers, allowing everyone to rest and heal together.

For those who prefer or require more individualized care, Private Acupuncture sessions are offered in fully private treatment rooms. These visits allow for extended time, additional modalities such as cupping, Tuiná, or kinesiotaping, and the option to bill insurance when applicable.

In my experience, acupuncture works best when it’s regular, accessible, and integrated into everyday life, not reserved for emergencies or rare occasions. Whether through community or private sessions, my goal is to make that ongoing healing possible.

It’s not just a clinic, it’s a community of healing, and I’m grateful to be part of your wellness journey.
