Ancient Medicine for Modern Wellness
My Story
I was born in São Paulo, Brazil, and had the privilege to be exposed to Acupuncture and natural medicine at an early age. I studied Acupuncture at CEATA in São Paulo - Brazil, graduating in 1994, and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy at UnG University (Universidade Guarulhos), Brazil, graduating in 1998. I worked as a Physical Therapist and Acupuncturist for the Brazilian Karate Team from 1996 - 1998, as well as having a private home-based practice. I also worked as a professor for Sol Instituto Terapêutico in São Paulo, Brazil.
In the United States, I worked as an EMT for a private company and an ER Technician at a level 1 trauma center. I graduated with a Master's Degree program from the New England School of Acupuncture in 2013. I had my clinical experience at Boston Medical Center, Winchester Hospital, and Cambridge Health Alliance. I worked as a Teacher's Assistant at New England School of Acupuncture (NESA - MCPHS) and an Acupuncturist at Saint Vincent Hospital Cancer and Wellness Center, observing firsthand how Acupuncture can be beneficial for Cancer patients.
Since 2013, I have owned and operated a Community Acupuncture clinic, performing an estimated number of more than 20,000 treatments!
